How to Use the ID Photo Print Layout Tool

This free online tool helps you arrange multiple copies of a passport photo, visa photo, or any ID photo onto a single sheet of photo paper — ready to send to a photo lab or print at home.

Step 1 — Upload & Crop Your Photo

Click or drag your photo into the upload area. Select the appropriate ID photo standard from the dropdown (e.g., US Passport 2×2 inch, UK Visa 35×45 mm, China 1-inch). The crop tool will lock to the correct aspect ratio automatically. You can also rotate the image or use a custom size.

Step 2 — Choose Paper Size & Layout Options

Pick a photo paper size (4R, 6-inch, A4, etc.), set spacing and margin, choose a background color (white, blue, or any custom color), and optionally add a thin border between photos. Switch to black & white mode if needed.

Step 3 — Export & Print

Download the layout as a high-resolution PNG or JPG (300 DPI). Take the file to any photo lab, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, or home printer to get your photos printed.

Frequently Asked Questions

For most photo labs in the US, choose 4R (4×6 inch), which corresponds to the "6-inch / 4R" option. This is the most common print size at Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart photo centers.

Is my photo uploaded to any server?

No. All image processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your photo is never uploaded or stored anywhere.

What resolution is the output?

The output is generated at 300 DPI, which is the industry standard for photo printing. This ensures sharp, clear results even when printed at full size.
